another step closer

I've got the signboard done and the letters cut out. the skull will be attached with a
1" piece of steel going through the sign and into the back of the skull
sandwiched between layers of precision board high density urethane (HDU).

I finished the skull yesterday but did not get the sign board ready.

made a little more progress today. I'll be getting some epoxy clay on it tomorrow and getting the signboard ready

more samples (build it, and they will come)

started a new sample sign yesterday. it will be for a fictitious reptile store featuring a triceratops skull.

Success

Well the Christmas on Mars event was a big success, over 10,000 people came by to see Santa and his martian helpers.

been busy building martians and smaller life forms, next up is decorating a 17' tall space ship, and .......wait for it........... more aliens

Guess I'm just not a blogger.

Anyways I got another job with the Bear Hotel. they will be having an interactive tour at the bear hotel this Christmas season and I'll be building some aliens, artifacts, and spaceships for the tour. This is just one of the smaller alien critters I'll be making. It's on display at the main Evergreen branch in Grants Pass.
